Dominique Mayho will compete in the 2017 Pan-American Cycling Championships in Dominican Republic.
Mayho will take part in the Men’s Elite Road Race that will cover 170 km.
A total of 25 National Federations have confirmed their registration of participation for the 3 day event, with the host Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Mexico featuring the most competitors of 18.
The contest will begin with the time trial in Mirador del Sur Park, which will comprise a distance of 20 kilometers for the Ladies, while the Under 23 Group will dispute 30 kilometers and the Elite’s a total of 40 kilometers.
The second day of activity will include the opening from 9am on the test of route in the category Under 23 that will run at a distance of 140 kilometers, while the Ladies will have a route of 90 kilometers.
The Pan-American cycling party will conclude on May 7th with the Elite category route test at a distance of 170 kilometers.
The Pan American Championship of Route Santo Domingo 2017 will grant qualifying quotas for the Central American and Caribbean Games of Barranquilla, Colombia, next year 2018.
