Dominique Mayho was one of 64 riders that did not finish the Wezembeek Open in Belgium. A total of 121 riders in the Under 23 Elite Division went to the start line to tackle the 142.8km Course.
Weather played a significant role in the racing with the rain creating havoc on the racers, with several crashes due to the slick pebble roads.
Mahyo said, “I didn't crash but going through every corner my tires would slide so I was really nervous.”
“After each corner I would have to sprint to get back to the group. It took its toll on me and I got dropped with about 10 other guys and we just rode a bit more then they pulled us out of the race,” concluded Mahyo.
