Shannon Lawrence continued his winning ways as he raced to victory during the Bermuda Bicycle Association’s Independent Medium Course Time Trial in the East End.
The distance for all categories was 16.84 miles other than the 11/12 category which was 8.42 miles and the 10 & Under did 2.28 miles.
Lawrence competing in the Male Open Division clocked a time of 37:01.4, with Anthony Bartley finishing second clocking 39:20.0, Junior Male 15-16 competitor Matthew Oliviera recorded the third fastest time across the line clocking 39:25.1
Karen Smith rode to victory, as she was the first Female to cross the line and 16th overall clocking a time of 45:02.3, Wenda Roberts was 22nd overall and had the second fastest qualifying time of 47:51.5 and Belinda Cobb-Castree was the third Female finisher and 23rd overall with a time of 48:13.2.
