The Bermuda Bicycle Association’s Flying Colours Mountain Bike Race Series returned to the Lagoon Park for the Seventh Race day.
92 riders competed on a course that was reversed for the second visit to Lagoon Park resulting in a completely different combination of loose and tight turns.
In Male A Class, Matthew Oliveira crossed the line first with a time of 55:13, covering ten laps, Dave Collins completed 9 laps finishing in second clocking 52:29 and Chequan Richardson finished third clocking 56:57 completing 9 laps.
In the Male Veteran race Gary Raynor clocked a winning time of 40:52 completing 7 laps, Charles Swart finished second with a time of 43:01 having completed 7 laps, while Chris Roque finished third with a time of 44:12 also completing 7 laps.
The Male B Division race saw Kaden Hopkins record a winning time of 45:4 completing 8 laps, Dylan Hill finished second after 7 laps and Sean Dickinson finished third with a time of 40:34. Karen Bordage rode to victory in the Female Veteran Division with a time of 44:12 after 7 laps.
Sarah Bonnett rode to victory in the Female B Division with a time of 43:58 after 7 laps, with Ali Watlington finishing second clocking 45:37 after 7 laps and Ashley Kirkpatrick finishing third in 43:49 after completing 6 laps.
