Stage One of the 2014 Bermuda Grand Prix got underway in the Town of St. George’s with a Hill Climb.
The Junior Female 12 & Under Division was won by Fast Forward Bicycle Works rider Julianne Oatley who clocked 1:36.386 , with Winners Edge rider Megan Hands finishing in second clocking 1:55.215.
Nahje Smith rode to victory during the Junior Male 12 & Under Division representing Social Cycles he clocked a time of 1:07.379, Winners Edge rider Alexander Miller finished second with a tie of 1:17.400 and Fast Forward Bicycle Works rider Alexander Southern finished third clocking 1:20.721.
Social Cycles rider Shomari Steede rode to victory in the Junior Male 13-16 Division with a time of 55.286, his teammate Rajul Matthie-Shakir finished second clocking 55.871 and Winners Edge rider Matthew Oliveira finished third clocking 57.500.
Victoria Davis representing Winners Edge won the Junior Female 13-16 Division with a time of 1:08.324, Fast Forward Bicycle Works rider Rebecca Harrison finished second with a time of 1:13.047 and Tristan Narraway from Tokio finished third clocking 1:17.907.
Winner Edge rider Nicole Mitchell clocked a time of 59.597 on her way to winning the Female Open Division, while Fast Forward Bicycle Works rider Laurie Orchard finished second clocking 1:03.862 and Winners Edge rider Gabriella Arnold finished third with a time of 1:05.606.
Clocking a time of 51.864 saw Tokio rider Howard Williams win the Male B Division, with Social Cycles rider Dennis Joell finishing second with a time of 52.215 and Mark Brown finished third with a time of 52.656.
The Male A Division race was won by Winners Edge rider Mark Hatherley who clocked 48.782, Mathew Ackland from Tokio was second with a time of 51.183 and his teammate Shannon Lawrence finished third with a time of 51.773.
