The team that represented Bermuda at the Caribbean Cycling Championships in Curacao arrived back in Bermuda at the LF Wade International Airport.
Zoenique Williams and Nicole Mitchell were both displaying the Medals they won, while Dominique Mayho, Shannon Lawrence and Darren Glasford were all determined to go back and challenge for Medals next year.
The Minister of Community, Culture and Sports, the Hon. R. Wayne Scott, offered congratulations to Mitchell and Williams who won Medals over the weekend at the Caribbean Cycling Championships (CCC) in Curacao.
Minister Scott said, “On behalf of the Government of Bermuda, I am happy to extend our congratulations to Nicole and Zoenique for their exceptional performances at the Caribbean Cycling Championship. We applaud their success, they have made Bermuda very proud.”
Shadow Minister for Community, Cultural Development and Sports Michael Weeks said, “The PLP joins with Bermudians and residents in celebrating our cycling medalists in Curacao. We commend them for their achievements, congratulate them for the impeccable way they have represented Bermuda on the world stage and encourage their future success.”
