The Bermuda Bicycle Association’s final race before the Sinclair Packwood Memorial race which is the Team Tokio Road Race is set for Sunday May 19th with the start/finish located at the Harrington Hundreds Grocery Store on South Shore Road, Smiths.
The Junior B/C race will proceed as an out-and-back loop to the Mid-Ocean club entrance remaining on South Shore Road. Turn at the green cone and return to the start/finish. Junior B will turn just before the start/finish and complete a second out-and-back lap.
Meanwhile the Adults/Junior A race will proceed east to Paynter’s Road, turn left and continue towards Harrington Sound Road, turn left and proceed west to Flatts Village. At Flatts, turn left on Middle Road, proceed up Flatts hill and bear left at Verdmont Road. At St. Mark’s Road, turn left. At South Shore Road, turn left and return to the start/finish.
The first to cross the timing mat on the top of St. Mark’s Road on lap 2 for each adult category and junior A will take the King of the Hill (KOH) honors.
