Team Madison rider Dominique Mayho put on a performance to remember in Hamilton during the IBC Criterium Series when he rode away from the Adult A Division from the start.
Mayho, fresh off his 2011 Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships Road Race Gold Medal performance and Team Winners Edge rider Treshun Correia set the early pace and Mahyo just gradually pulled away from Correia, before lapping the field. Myho clocked a time of 44:42.6, while Darren Glasford from Team Winners Edge finished second in a chasing pack clocking 46:08.5, he held off a challenge from Brian Drea of Team Madison who finished third who had a time of 46:09.3.
In a sprint finish for first place in the Adult B Division saw Johan Viver clocked 35:06.9 finishing ahead of Team Crime Stoppers rider Anthony Bartley who recorded a time of 35:09.4, with Norbert Meyer from Team Fast Forward Bicycle Works finishing third clocking 35:10.3.
With a time of 30:38.4 Dirk Hassellkus won the Adult C Division, while Ian Pilgrim from Team Fast Forward Bicycle Works finished second with a time of 31:05.8 and Team Tokio’s Nigel Godfrey finished third with a time of 32:07.0.
