Gary Bascombe gave Warwick Workman’s Club a 1 – 0 lead after he defeated George Connor 47 – 8, but Martin Siese would draw Sandys Boat Club level when he defeated Keith Smith 69 – 44, Andre Burgess put Warwick Workman’s Club back in front defeating Peter Bromby 40-39, but yet again the game was level when Richard Beale defeated Trevor Mouchette 56-40 to draw Sandys Boat Club even at 2 – 2. In the match decider Trevor Mouchette from Warwick Workman’s Club defeated Martin Siese 73-20 to earn them the 3 – 2 victory.

Spanish Point Boat Club’s John Orr defeated Herbert Burrows 51-21 to give them a 1 – 0 lead, the lead would be doubled when Billy Wotton defeated James Talbot 64-43.
Jacal Washington would pull a point back for RAA when he defeated Scott Barnes 60-36, but John Burns defeated J. Hollis 42-16to earn Spanish Point Boat Club the 3 – 1 win.
