The Bermuda Snooker Association’s Open Division continued, with Warwick Workman’s Club B team defeated Spanish Point Boat Club A team 8 – 2. Andy Peniston won his game against Stewart Greenslade 53-44. Daniel Caines defeated Denis Coyle 61-30 and Nadanja Bailey and Chris Dakin would split a game apiece. Dakin won the first game 55-16 and Bailey won the second game 60-35. The doubles pair of Reuben Burchall and Peniston defeated Coyle and Greenslade 45-25.
Queen’s Club B would take 9 points from Royal Artillery Association A in a 9 – 1 win. New to the league this season JaCal Washington would win the lone point for RAA by defeating John Nicol 58-54 on the black ball. Greg Swinbourne won his two games against Honky Burrows 67-31 & 52-18. Rick Dorush beat Mike McGowan 60-30. John Burns and Jimmy McGill defeated Washington and Joseph Hayward 53-30.
Sandy’s Boat Club A took all six points from Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club B. Peter Bromby had a 22 break while taking two games from Andrew Hanwell 58-34 & 49-24. Stuart Mathews defeated Ross Spurling 54-36 and Martin Siese won his game against Jon Pedro 54-22. Martin also had high break of the night with 24. The doubles game saw partners Mathews and Siese defeat Pedro and Bart Lewis 52-25.
Warwick Workman’s Club A defeated Watford Sports Club B 6-0. Timmy Sousa won his game against Keino Zuill 43-24. Wally Tucker defeated Tony Dawson 61-46 and Keith Smith won the two frame games 69-25 & 63-27 against Aaron Bean. The doubles game saw Andre Burgess and Courtland Furbert defeat Zuill and Dawson 70-54.
