The 2012/13 Bermuda Snooker League season got underway with a full slate of matches played.

Queen’s Club Two were the big winners of the night, they defeated Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club Two 6 – 0. Rick Dorush got the night started for Queen’s Club by defeating Bart Lewis in the double frame games 55-24 & 45-24. John Nicol defeated Jon Pedro 37-27 and John Burns won his game against Ross Spurling 58-28. Burns/Nicol defeated Spurling/Pedro 60-35 in the doubles game.

Spanish Point Boat Club One and Watford Sports Club One drew 3 - 3 with their match. Stewart Greenslade had no mercy on veteran Tony DeSilva by beating him 62-37. Steven Bremar who would captured the high break of 23 for the night put Watford Sports Club in the lead by defeating Chris Dakin 60-20 & 68-43 in the double frame games. Ed Gumbs would tie the match up for Spanish Point by winning his game against Ray DeSilva 56-23. Denis Coyle/Greenslade would close the night by winning the doubles game against R. DeSilva/T. DeSilva 44-19.

Another match ended deadlocked as Sandy’s Boat Club Two and Warwick Workman’s Club Two finished 3 - 3. Richard Beale had a break of 22 as he defeated Daniel Caines 52-38 to put Sandy’s Boat Club in the lead. New comer Nadanja Bailey had an impressive game of 74 and would tie the match up for Warwick Workman’s by defeating Aaron Carvelho 43. Andy Peniston returned to Warwick Workman’s and won the double frame games by beating Chris Bromby 78-22 & 63-49. Beale/Jose Berrios won the doubles game 64 to Reuben Burchall/Derek Simons 39.

Watford Sports Club Two were victorious against Spanish Point Boat Club Two by defeating them 4-2. Tony Dawson put Watford on the board by defeating John Watson 58-33. Andrew Pratt of Spanish Point defeated Aaron Bean 73-33. Another new comer to the league this year Keino Zuill defeated Scott Barnes 47-26 & 42-27. Pratt/Watson defeated Dawson/Bean in the doubles game 59-32.

Warwick Workman’s Club One and Sandy’s Boat Club One would split high break to end up 4-3 for the night. Peter Bromby would win his two games against Keith Smith 42-25 & 49-20. Veteran Wally Tucker won his game by defeating Stuart Mathews 40-24 and Timmy Sousa defeated Martin Siese 55-30. Courtland Furbert/Andre Burgess won the doubles game by defeating Siese/Mathews 45-38.
