The Bermuda Snooker Association held a Turkey’s Fly East and West Tournament, Stuart Matthews of Sandy’s Boat Club One and Andy Peniston of Royal Artillery Association Two took home the Turkeys. Karl Wilson also shared high break along with Matthews.

Queen’s Club One cruised to an easy victory over Warwick Workman’s Club One with a final score of 5-1. Gary Bascome defeated Stephen Roberts 66-40. Karl Wilson beat Keith Smith 49-20. Warwick Workman’s Club One were playing one man short which resulted in Matt Garrod winning the double frame game 2-0. The doubles game saw Wilson/Roberts defeat Smith/Bascome 60-20.

Andy Peniston got things started for Royal Artillery Association Two by defeating Bart Lewis 57-50 and 32-25. Joshua Peniston defeated Jon Pedro 41-32 and Andrew Pratt defeated Jonathan Peniston 54-46. Doubles game had Jonathan/Joshua defeat John Ross/Pedro 72-26. Handing Royal Artillery Association Two a 5 – 1 win over the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club Two.

Watford Sports Club Two went down to Queen’s Club Two 4 -2. Tony Dawson defeated Rick Dorush 57-50. John Burns beat Sticks Henderson 50-43 and the two frame game saw Aaron Bean defeat Jimmy McGill in the first game 52-45 and McGill came back to take the second game 60-21. The doubles game was won by Greg Swinbourne/Dorush defeating Timmy Simons/Dawson 43-14.

Steven Panchaud defeated Aaron Carvello 57-50. Steven Holloway beat Chris Bromby 50-18 and Michael Camara defeated Richie Beale 49-38 in the first of the two frame games with Beale coming back to take the second game 60-44. Doubles game was won by Panchaud/Halloway 63 to Carvello/Bromby’s 18 giving Spanish Point Boat Club Three a final score of 5 to 1 over Sandy’s Boat Club Two.

It was a white wash for Warwick Workman’s Club Two with Sandy’s Boat Club One winning the night with a 6-0 score. Stuart Matthews defeated Timmy Sousa 47-35. Martin Siese beat Reuben Burchall 56-47. Peter Bromby took the first of the two frame games with an impressive score of 110-29. Even though Tucker fought back he would lose the second game on the black ball 47-44. The doubles game saw Siese/Matthews defeat Andre Burgess/Burchall 62-15.

Rounding out the night Watford Sports Club One defeated Royal Artillery Association One 4 -2. Steven Bremar and Honky Burrows would start the night with the two frame games. Bremar won both games 66-48 and 59-33. Ray DeSilva kept the winning streak going for WSC1 by defeating Joseph Hayward 60-44. Tony DeSilva lost to Mike McGowan 74-24. The doubles game saw R.DeSilva/T.DeSilva win the game by a black ball re-spot defeating Hayward/McGowan 53-46.
