The 5th and Final scheduled Miller Handicap Tournament was held at the Warwick Workman’s Club.
After all the elimination matches, the Semi-Finals took place with Stewart Greenslade and Steven Bremar battling, Bremar won the first game only to have Greenslade comeback to win the second match. Bremar than won the third and deciding game to make it to the Final where he took on Keith Smith who defeated Gary Bascombe in his Semi-Final game.
The Final turned out to be a Marathon race to three, Smith won the first game, only for Bremar to bounce back and win the second game.
Smith then went ahead 2 – 1 after winning the third game, but Bremar refused to go quietly, winning the fourth game to send it to a winner takes all fifth and final game.
Smith eventually prevailed over Bremar in the fifth game to win the Miller Handicap Tournament.
