Bascome Wins Snooker Challenge

Gary Bascome won the first of the Miller Handicap Snooker Challenge Tournaments at the Royal Artillery Association (RAA) Club.

The tournament was played at two locations simultaneously, the St. George’s Dinghy & Sports Club and Royal Artillery Association (RAA).

Bascome who won the battles over at the St. George’s Dinghy & Sports Club took on Keith Smith who won at RAA in the final.

Bascome won the first two games, before Smith fought back to win the next two, before Bascome came out on top in the fifth and final game.

Smith defeated Herbert Burrows in the RAA Semi-Final after Burrows came from behind to defeat Steve Bremar.
