Two Bermuda Swimmers Madelyn Moore and Jesse Washington began competing in the 2016 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Maui, Hawaii.
Washington finished 39th competing in the Men’s 200 LC Meter Freestyle Preliminaries, Washington touched the wall in a time of 2:02.67. Washington was well behind his best time during the event which was 1:55.41, this time would have seen Washington have a shot at the B Final.
Moore was 28th competing in the Women’s 100 LC Meter Backstroke, with a best time of 1:07.03, Moore was also below her best when she stopped the clock in 1:09.23, Moore also missed a spot in the B Final.
