Emma Harvey’s performances at the Pan American Games in Chile far exceed her expectations.
Having already won a B Final, and broken two National Records, today in the Preliminaries of the Women's 50m Freestyle, Harvey clocked a Personal Best time of 25.96 to finish Heat 3 in third place advancing to the B Final. In the B Final Harvey went even faster clocking 25.81 she would finish 11th overall.
Madelyn Moore would compete in Heat 5, she clocked a time of 26.26 finishing 6th in the heat, however, Moore did earn a spot in the B Final, after a swimmer withdrew. In the B Final Moore touched the wall in a time of 26.28 finishing 7th, this would see her finish 15th overall.
Sam Williamson competed in the Men's 400m Individual Medley, in Heat 2, Williamson finished 6th clocking a time of 4:43.76, however, he competed in the B Final after one swimmer pulled out. In the B Final Williamson clocked a time of 4:40.99, close to 3 seconds faster than the Preliminary time.
