Elan Daley and her University of Florida Women’s Swimming and Diving teammates started off its 2023-24 campaign defeating SEC opponent Vanderbilt, 180-75, to secure their first conference win of the season.
Florida won every meet against Vanderbilt, as Bella Sims won three events in her collegiate debut. On top of that, she led off in the Women’s 200-Yard Medley Relay, along with Molly Mayne, Olivia Peoples, and Daly placed first with a 1:41.1.
Daley in her debut for Florida finished 5th in the Women’s 50-Yard Freestyle clocking a time of 24.55, Daley finished 4th in the Women’s 100-Yard Freestyle touching the all in a time of 53.17.
Daley swam the anchor leg helping Florida win the Women’s 200-Yard Freestyle Relay clocking a time of 1:35.29.
