Emma and Jack Harvey along with their Penn State Swimming & Diving teammates began competing at the 2023 B1G Championships hosted by the University of Michigan at Canham Natatorium.
Events kicked off with the Womenís 200 Medley Relay. Molly Carson, Olivia Jack, Emma Harvey, and Mary Brinker clocked a time of 1:37.51 finishing in fifth place. The performance was the third fastest in program history for Penn State, surpassing the 1:37.61 mark set in 2014 by Mackenzie Powers, Haley Sinatro, Carolyn Fittin, and Katelyn Miller.
Emma Harvey had a lifetime-best split in the 50 Yard Butterfly and she is the first Penn State swimmer under 23 seconds in school history.
Jack Harvey swam the third leg for the Penn State Menís 800 Yard Freestyle Relay team that finished 8th clocking a time of 6:29.35.
Jack Harvey finished 29th competing in the Menís 500 Yard Freestyle, Harvey touched the wall in a Personal Best time of 4:31.31.
