Harvey & Moore IslandStats.com Bermuda swimmers Madelyn Moore and Emma Harvey advanced to the Semi-Finals at the Commonwealth Games.
Taking to the pool at the Sandwell Aquatics Center, Moore finished 3rd in Heat 7 of the Women’s 50m Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 25.86, Moore finished 13th overall and advanced to the Semi-Finals.
Moore competed in the Second Semi-Final and finished 7th clocking a time of 25.72, breaking the National Record, but she was unable to advance to the Final.
Harvey finished 4th in Heat 2 in the Women's 100m Backstroke, clocking a time of 1:04.17, to advance to the Semi-Finals finishing 15th overall, while Moore competing in the same Heat finished 6th clocking a time of 1:04.84 finishing 19th overall.
Harvey in the Women's 100m Backstroke Semi-Final Heat 2 finished 7th touching the wall in a Personal Best time of 1:03.80, unfortunately, she also missed out on a spot in the Final.
Harvey finished 6th in Heat 3 competing in the Women's 100m Butterfly finishing 22nd overall.
