The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association’s Short Course Swimming Championships got underway at the National Sports Center.
Elan Daley would continue the form we have been reporting, when she won the 13-14 Girls 800 SC Meter Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 9:02.29, which broke the Age Group Record that was held by Taylor White who was clocked at 9:26.37 back on December 1st 2017.
Brian Desmond won the Boy’s 15 & Over 1500 SC Meter Freestyle clocking a time of 16:52.57. White won the Girls 15 & Over 800 SC Meter Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 9:30.68.
Arabella Newport-Derbyshire, Violet Smith and Somers Estwanik swept the Girl’s 10 and Under 400 Freestyle, with Newport-Derbyshire winning in a time of 5:26.15
Jacob Wright and Nayland Harris placed first and second in the Boy’s 10 and Under 400 Freestyle in times of 6:29.12 and 6:29.35 respectively.
Ava Pedro and Juliette Smatt placed first and second in the Girls’s 11-12 Age Group 800 Freestyle in times of 11:15.24 and 11:47.22 respectively.
