Bermuda Swimmers Madelyn Moore and Jesse Washington along with coach Ben Smith are in Peru putting the final touches on their Swimming routine for the Pan American Games.
Smith spent the day simulating what the athletes will do on the race days and what recovery time they will need in between races and Finals.
Moore said, “I felt really good over in Korea during the World Swimming Championships, to be among Olympic Medalist and World Record Holders was just an amazing experience.”
Washington said, “I am hoping I can put together some Personal Best times while here in Peru, I have been building for this and I feel I can do it.”
Smith said, “To have Washington and Moore spearhead this senior event is fulfilling as they watched the likes of Roy-Allan Burch, Julian Fletcher and Rebecca Heyliger all before them and now it is their turn to lead the next generation of Swimmers.”
