The Central American and Caribbean Amateur Confederation Swimming Championships (CCCAN) got underway in Barbados, winning Bermuda swimmers who constantly are ignored when competing in Bermuda earning a Silver Medal on Day One.
The Silver Medal came during the 13-14 Mixed 50m Freestyle Relay, where Sam Williamson, Jaedyn Judd, Finn Moseley and Elan Daley touched the wall in a time of 1:45.95, just missing the Gold as the team from Mexico clocked a time of 1:45.09.
Brian Desmond finished seventh in the 15-17 Men’s 1500m Freestyle in 18:12.75, while Taylor White finished fifth in the 13 and Over Girls 800 Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 9:40.70.
The 15-17 Mixed 50m Freestyle Relay team of Logan Watson-Brown, Keagan Woolley, Gabriella Pitman and Caleb Ingham finished sixth in a time of 1:45.64.
Imojen Judd, Elijah Daley, Bella Howes and Brandon Adkins competed in the 11-12 Mixed 50m Freestyle finishing 5th stopping the clock in a time of 1:51.27.
