Elan Daley was at it again this time breaking a 30 year old record when she took to the pool to compete in the Trillium Cup Short Course Swim Meet hosted by Etobicoke Swim Club at the Etobicoke Olympium.
Daley would stand on top of the podium three times which also included the performance that has taken a record that has stood for three decades.
Daley would first break the 13-14 Year Old Girl’s 400 Individual Medley Record when she touched the wall in a time of 5:07.36, breaking Emma Harvey’s time of 5:15.41 set back on December 4th 2015 during the Winter Age Group Championships.
Next was the 30 Year Old Record Breaking performance which came during the 13-14 Year Old Girl’s 200m Breaststroke Final when she was clocked in a winning time of 2:45.12, breaking Jennifer Smatt’s Record time of 2:45.61 set back on June 1st, 1988.
Daley would also win the 13-14 Year Old Girl’s 400m Freestyle Final clocking a time of 4:33.55.
