Mitchell Gariepy and his South Carolina Men's Swimming and Diving teammates competed in the 2018 Georgia Tech Fall Invitational.
Gariepy finished 54th overall during the Men’s 100 Yard Fly when he touched the wall in a time of 50.58.
Gariepy would finish 27th during the Preliminaries of the Men’s 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 56.17, which advanced him to the C Final. During the C – Final, Gariepy finished 8th stopping the clock in a time of 56.78.
Gariepy would finish 5th in the Men’s 200 Yard Breaststroke B Final clocking aa time of 2:02.08, this after recording the 18th fastest time in the Preliminaries clocking 2:03.05.
