Elijah Daley competed in the 2018 Hall of Fame Swim Meet hosted by Etobicoke Swim Club.
Daley competed in eight Finals in the Boy’s 12 Year Old Age Group and was on the podium seven times, winning five Silver and two Bronze Medals to go with 1 record breaking performance and 8 Personal Best times.
Competing in the 50m Freestyle Final, Daley won a Silver Medal touching the wall in a time of 27.71.
During the 100m Freestyle Final Daley would win the Bronze Medal with a time of 1:01.38. Another Bronze Medal was won during the 50m Backstroke Final with Daley clocking 32.40.
During the 100m Backstroke Final, Daley finished 4th stopping the clock in a time of 1:09.60.
It was back to Medal honors when Daley captured the Silver Medal during the 50m Breaststroke Final clocking 36.13.
Daley would then win the 100m Breaststroke Final Silver Medal stopping the clock in a time of 1:19.86.
During the 50m Butterfly Final, Daley won the Silver Medal touching the wall in a time of 30.13.
Daley would save his record breaking performance until the end when he won the Silver Medal during the 100m Butterfly Final clocking a time of 1:06.51, breaking the record of 1:08.42 set by his brother Ethan Daley back on May 18th, 2014.
