Following one of the best if not the Best Carifta Swimming Championships Individual performances in a Bermuda Swim Suit, Elan Daley was back in the pool competing in the MAC April Invitational in Canada.
Daley would compete in 5 Finals winning 2 Gold Medals and 3 Silver Medals.
Daley would advance to the Women’s 50m Freestyle Final with the fastest qualifying time of 27.38, she would go faster in the Final touching the wall in a Gold Medal time of 27.03.
Daley would also capture the Women’s 100m Freestyle Gold Medal after clocking a time of 59.89, she recorded the fastest qualifying time of 1:00.41.
Daley would capture the Women’s 50m Backstroke Silver Medal touching the wall in a Personal Best Final time of 31.94, her time was just .01 of a second behind the current Record time of 31.93 set by Emma Harvey back on April 22nd, 2014 during the XXIX Carifta Swimming Championships in Aruba, Daley had clocked a time of 32.45 in the Preliminaries which was the fastest time.
Another Silver Medal was captured during the Women’s 100m Butterfly Final after Daley was clocked at 1:07.46, she had the second fastest qualifying time of 1:08.23.
Daley’s final Medal was the Silver which came during the Women’s 200m Individual Medley when she was clocked at 2:28.84, after clocking 2:30.30 during the Preliminaries.
