Sharks Swim Club Has Huge Success
The Bermuda Sharks Swim Club has had huge success over the last few weeks from their current members and their alumni.

10 & Under Girls - Imojen Judd
11&12 Girls - Jaedyn Judd
11&12 Boys - Harlan Watson-Brown
13&14 Girls - Logan Watson-Brown

15& Over Girls - Skyler Powell
15 & Over Boys - Jesse Washington

Winners for the Best Shipping Swimming Championships 6 out of 8 Age Groups

10 & under Girls - Imojen Judd

Jesse Washington 17-18 Boys 100 Butterfly new time 25.56
Sam Williamson 13-14 Boys 100 Breaststroke new time 1:10.74
Jesse Washington 17-18 Boys 50 Backstroke new 27.47
Logan Watson-Brown 400 Freestyle 13-14 Girls clocking 4:32.75

Jesse Washington 17-18 Boys 200 Freestyle record taking Jason Mastalir’s record from February 2009 of 1:54.07 to a new record of 1:52.40. Washington’s swim is also the new Bermuda Open record taken the record from Ronald Cowen 0f 1:52.79 from 2002.
Sam Williamson broke his 50 Breaststroke record with a new time of 31.22
Keagan Woolley in the 15-16 Boys Age Group 50 Breaststroke with a time of 31.32.
Jesse Washington had the final record of the weekend in the 100 Butterfly breaking Michael O’Connor’s 17-18 Boys record of 58.44 with a time of 57.06.

Carifta Swimming Championships (Jamaica)


Elan Daley - 11 Gold Medals
Madelyn Moore 1 Silver and 2 Bronze
Logan Watson-Brown 3 Silver and 1 Bronze
Brian Desmond 2 Silver
Sam Williamson 1 Silver
Elijah Daley 1 Bronze

Skyler Powell, Gabriela Pittman, Taylor White and Imojen Judd also won Medals as part of relays. Elan won the 11-12 Age Group high points award and also was the high point award winner overall.

Logan Watson-Brown won the 13-14 Age Group high points award.

Mallards LC Challenge (Markham Pan Am Pool)

Imojen Judd won 6 Gold Medals and 3 Silver Medals in the 10 and Under Category. She set new Age Group records in the 200 Backstroke where she lowered Emma Harvey’s record of 2:53.97 to 2:48.65 and in the 400 Freestyle she took the record from Jessica Bruton who swam 5:32.65 by swimming 5:30.72

Carifta Track Championships

We would like to congratulate Ashley Irby for her 4th place finish in Bahamas. She was a mere 1.2 seconds away from medaling in her first Carifta Track after previously being a Medalist at Carifta Swimming.

Commonwealth Games 2018 (Gold Coast)

We would like to congratulate Shark Alum Flora Duffy for continuing to make us proud around the world. Winning the gold medal at Commonwealth Games is another spectacular accomplishment. We would also like to congratulate Erica Hawley who is another Shark Alum who was a member of the Bermuda Triathlon team event that place 5th overall.
