Emma Harvey representing Millfield earned 4 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal during in the Scottish National Age Group Swimming Championships held in Aberdeen Sports Village.
Harvey also broke four National Records along the way.
Harvey competing in the Under 16 Girls Division captured a Silver Medal during the 100m Backstroke she touched the wall in a time of 1:05.80.
Harvey’s second Silver Medal came during the 50m Freestyle when she clocked 26.88.
While capturing the Silver Medal in the 50m Backstroke, Harvey clocked 29.70, breaking her own record of 29.77 which she set back on July 30th 2016 during the British Summer Championships.
Harvey also broke the 50m Butterfly record while claiming a Silver Medal when she was clocked at 27.83, breaking her previous record time of 27.97 set back on July 27th 2016 during the British Summer Championships.
Harvey’s Bronze Medal came during the 100m Butterfly record breaking performance when she was clocked at 1:02.88, breaking her own record of 1:04.46 set back on July 31st 2016 during the British Summer Championships.
Harvey’s final record breaking performance was during the 200m Freestyle where she finished 4th with a time of 2:08.84, breaking Vanessa Esposito’s record of 2:10.25 set back on April 25th 2015 during the Section 1 Festival Par Equipe Swim Meet in Canada.
Harvey finished 5th competing in the 100m Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 58.92.
