Julian Fletcher and Rebecca Heyliger competed for the final time at the 13th FINA World Short Course Championships in Windsor Canada.
Competing in Heat 6 of the Men’s 50m Breaststroke, Fletcher finished 5th in the Heat and 54th overall with a Bermuda National Record breaking time of 28.42. Fletcher broke his own record of 28.50 he set in Hong Kong.
Heyliger took to the pool for Heat 9 of the Women’s 50m Freestyle, Heyliger finished 5th in the Heat and 40th overall clocking a time of 25.79, Heyliger broke Kiera Aitken’s record of 26.11 set 7 years ago on April 11th 2009.
