Bermuda Olympian Julian Fletcher compete in the 2016 FINA Short-Course World Cup Series in Singapore.
Fletcher competing in Heat Three of the Men's 50m Breaststroke finished 5th with a time of 28.65 which saw him finish 13th overall. Fletcher’s time is also a new Bermuda National Record, which was broken from his performance in Doha, Qatar at the World Championships in 2014.
During the Men's 100m Breaststroke, Fletcher stopped the clock in a time of 1:02.92 to finish 5th in Heat 4 and 14th overall.
Fletcher recorded a time of 2:21.44 during the Men's 200m Breaststroke, this time in Heat 1 saw him finish 3rd and 12th overall.
Following the Short-Course World Cup Meet Fletcher told www.islandstats.com, “I am not completely satisfied but glad with the results from the meet, it has taken me a few days to get over the jet lag of flying to Asia, but I'm excited to be out here representing Bermuda.”
