Blackburn competed in 5 events reaching the A Final in 4 of the event and recording a win in the other.
Blackburn began swimming the final leg of the South Florida Aquatic Club Women’s 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team that recorded a winning time of 1:33.31.
The forty-four year old Blackburn then clocked a time of 52.65 during the Women’s 100 Yard Freestyle Preliminaries finishing 8th, advancing to the A Final where she recorded a faster time of 51.78 finishing 7th.
Blackburn then lined up for the Women’s 100 Yard IM Preliminaries, she touched the wall in a time of 58.94 finishing 6th and advancing to the A Final, were again she finished 6th clocking a time of 58.52.
During the Women’s 50 Yard Butterfly Preliminaries, Blackburn finished 9th clocking a time of 27.33, and then in the A Final, Blackburn turned in an even faster time of 27.13, but still finished 9th.
Clocking 24.54 during the Women’s 50 Yard Freestyle Preliminaries saw Blackburn advance to the A Final with the 5th fastest time, she then clocked 24.25 in the Final to finish 7th.
