Members of SwimMac Elite Swimming including Bermuda Olympic swimmer Roy-Allan Burch concluded their training at the National Sports Center Pool and also around the island.
The SwimMac Elite Swimming team saw the likes of Cullen Jones, who earned a gold medal as part of the world record-breaking 4x100 freestyle relay in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, Kirsty Coventry who competed in her first Olympics at age 16 and has since become one of the most decorated athletes in Olympic history in Bermuda.
The group spent time training with some of the Bermuda Swimmers who recently returned from the Carifta Championships.
Burch said, ‘The team really enjoyed their time in Bermuda, I got a new appreciation for the Pool, that when it was built I wanted more, but seeing what we have been able to do here is a good feeling.”
