The first session of the 2016 Schroders Spring Swimming Championships went very well at the BASA Pool.
On the heels of the announcement of the Carifta Swimming Championships team, there were lots of Personal Best swims in the first session of distance events.
The highlight was Madelyn Moore setting and New Record in the 50 Freestyle.
Moore’s time of 26.07 gives her a new 15-16 Age Group Record, a new National Record and a BASA Pool Record. The National record was held by Keira Aitken since 2009.
Ethan Daley finished the night off in the last event 1500 Freestyle where he broke the record of 17:42 with a time of 17:13.21, the record was from Jason Mastalir in 2005.
