BASA Update More Short Course Records

The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association has updated their Short Course Meter Records after the M.A.C. In House #3, the Best of BEST #2 and the Ontario Winter Festival.

M.A.C. In-House #3 – February 10th, 2016 – Unionville, Ontario, Canada

Ethan Daley now holds the 13 & 14 Boys 800m Freestyle record after touching the wall in a time of 8:56.27, breaking Nicholas Patterson’s record of 9:31.07 set on April 11th, 2009

Best of BEST #2 – February 20th, 2016 – B.A.S.A. Pool

Skyler Powell broke Stephanie Myle’s record of 19:59.15 in the 13 & 14 Girls 1,500m Freestyle when she was clocked at 19:27.73.

Ontario Winter Festival – February 20th – 21st, 2016 – Unionville, Ontario, Canada

Elan Daley broke six 9 & 10 Girls records, the first one came in the 100m Freestyle when she was clocked at 1:01.91, breaking her own record of 1:02.57 set on December 6th, 2015, she then broke her own record 100m Freestyle record of 1:01.91 set on February 21st, 2016, when she clocked 1:01.08, in the lead-off leg on 4 x 100 Freestyle Relay.

Daley broke her own 200m Freestyle of 2:21.94 set on June 27th, 2015, when she clocked 2:19.69, she then set a new 50m Butterfly record of 30.62, breaking her own record of 31.48 set on January 30th, 2016.

Daley set a new 100m Individual Medley record of 1:10.88, breaking her own record of 1:13.80 set on July 11th, 2015 and then she set a new 200m Individual Medley record of 2:35.01, breaking her own record of 2:45.81 set on November 8th, 2015.

Elijah Daley set a new 9 & 10 Boys 200m Freestyle record clocking a time of 2:32.16, breaking Keagan Woolley’s record of 2:33.81 set on November 29th, 2013 and then Daley set a new 400m Freestyle record time of 5:17.50, breaking Nicolas Thomson’s record of 5;20.35 set on November 9th, 2002.
