The 2016 ST TXLA Arena Pro Swim Series at Austin got underway at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center, with Roy-Allan Burch, Julian Fletcher, Rebecca Heyliger and Lisa Blackburn all taking part.
Burch was the first competitor of the group to take part, he competed in the Men’s 100 Long Course Meter Freestyle finishing 129th clocking a time of 1:06.22, Burch used the event as a Warm-up for his Men’s 50 Long Course Meter Freestyle competition, Burch recorded a fast 50m time of 24.07, but then cruised the second 50 meters to the finish.
Bermuda’s next participant was  Fletcher competing in the Men’s 200 Long Course Meter Breaststroke, Fletcher just missed out on reaching the D Final when he recorded the 38th fastest time of 2:22.17.
 Heyliger dove into the Pool to compete in the Women’s 100 Long Course Meter Freestyle, Heyliger entered the Pool with a Personal Best time of 58.02, but she recorded a time of 59.55 finishing 113th.
