Times for Ashley Yearwood and her Denison University Women's Swim teammates continue to drop quicker than the temperature in central Ohio and all of that fast swimming led to a 157.5-142.5 win over rival Kenyon College in Gambier.
Denison posted 11 wins while recording season-best times in numerous events. More importantly, nine NCAA 'B' cut times were improved up at the Kenyon Athletic Center.
Denison was led by senior Yearwood who logged four victories in the 100 Yard Backstroke, the 100 Yard Freestyle and the 200 Yard Medley and 200 Yard Freestyle Relays.
In the 200 Yard Medley Relay, along with Carolyn Kane, Marissa Bednarek and Mary Van Leuven, the team touched in a season-best 'B' cut time of 1:44.90.
Another season-best 'B" time was logged by Kate Wright, Yearwood, Kane and Van Leuven in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay when they hit the wall in 1:34.41.
