After the hectic pace of the previous day at the Canadian Age Group Championships in Quebec City, the four Bermuda Swimmers were back in the pool.
FINALS
Madelyn Moore was the only Bermuda swimmer who advanced to finals this evening. Moore competed in the 50m Freestyle Final for 15 Year Old Girls, where she finished in 6th place with a time of 27.08, for Moore it was a very consistent swim from her morning swim, which was 1/100th of a second faster.
PRELIMINARIES
In an event which calls for a fast reaction, Emma Harvey had a slow start on the field in her heat, where she finished 9th. Her time of 28.40 saw her place 15th in a three way tie for the 14 Year Old Girl’s Age Group.
Madelyn Moore fared better in the 15 Year Old Girls Age Group, finishing 3rd overall with a time of 27.07. Moore is determined to improve upon both her time and place in tonight’s final.
Jesse Washington concluded the Bermuda team’s morning’s efforts in the 16 Year Old Boys Age Group, with a time of 24.87. Despite this time being very close to his personal best, the intensity of the competition meant he had to settle for 12th place in his Age Group.
