Members of the Harbour Swim Club competed in Naples, Florida. All swimmers achieved Personal Best Times, with 13 members of the team qualifying for finals, and 5 team members reaching the podium.
Highlights of the meet included Brett Smith taking Gold in the 100 Backstroke as well as making 2 qualifying times for Canadian Age Groups in the 100 and 200 Backstroke, Emma Kittleson and Jack Harvey swimming AAA times in the 50 Backstroke and 200 Backstroke respectively with Kittleson taking the Gold in both the 50 and 100 Backstroke. Nick Pilgrim and Jayson Hassell recording an A time in the 100 Backstroke and 100 Breaststroke and Emma Harvey winning Gold in five of her events and setting 4 Age Group Records and one National Record.
Frankie Arnold, Kyle Cash, Hassell, Caleb Ingham, Kittleson, Smith, Lindsay Smith, Zeb Wakeley and Taylor White achieved personal bests in all 6 of their events with other swimmers achieving as many as four or five personal best performances.
Shona Palmer, Head Coach said, “The Harbour Team all had excellent performances, demonstrated great team spirit and represented their club very well. The coaches are all extremely proud of their efforts."
