Two days ago during Day Three Preliminaries of the Central American and Caribbean Games Swimming competition in Veracruz, Mexico saw a New National Record Set.
Roy-Allan Burch finished 4th in Heat 1 of the Men’s 50m Butterfly, Burch touched the wall in a time of 24.77.
Burch’s time was the first time a Bermudian Swimmer had gone under 25.00 in this event, the previous record which Burch held himself was 25.60 which he set June 25th, 2012 at the XIX Caribbean Islands Swimming Championships in Aruba.
