Roy-Allan Burch has qualified for the Men’s 100m Freestyle Semi-Finals at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. Burch finished 6th in Heat 1 of the Semi-Finals during the Men's 100m Freestyle, Burch had a remarkable first 50m, but eventually faded in the end touching the wall in a time of 50.26.
His time was good enough to finish 11th overall.
Burch in the Preliminaries swimming in Heat 8 finished sixth with a time of 50.84, which saw him take the final Semi-Final qualification spot.
Burch said, “The swim was better than it has been in the past, I was racing the swim, I will try to swim more within myself tonight, I know getting into the Final tonight is going to be difficult because these are some fast guys, but I am going to give it my best shot.”
