Day Four of the 20th Caribbean Island Swimming Championships saw Bermuda Swimmers win three more Medals in Barbados.
Julian Fletcher won the Silver Medal in the in the Boys 18 & Over 50m Breaststroke with a time of 30.38.
Lisa Blackburn clocked 34.57 on her way to winning the Bronze Medal in the Girls 18 & Over 50m Breaststroke. Shannon Hassell won the 13-14 Girls 200m Backstroke Gold Medal in a time of 2:30.57, Hassell’s time is a Personal Best and 15-16 Bermuda Record.
Also reaching Finals was Ashley Irby who finished 5th in the 11-12 Girls 200m Backstroke clocking 2.41.20. Ethan Daley clocked 2:34.08 during the 11-12 Boy’s 200m Backstroke Final which saw him finish 4th. Ashley Yearwood also finished 4th during the 18 & Over Girls 200m Backstroke with a time of 2:36.64.
During the 15-17 Boys 400m Freestyle Final Philip Hagen finished 6th touching the wall in a time of 4:31.53, while Jesse Washington finished 5th in the 13-14 Boy’s 400m Freestyle with a time of 4:24.16.
During the 13-14 Boy’s 400m Freestyle Preliminaries, Jesse Washington advanced to the Finals after finishing 6th with a time of 4:28.17, while Philip Hagen missed out on a Final spot in the 15-17 Boy’s 50m Breaststroke when he finished 12th with a time of 33.74.
Ethan Daley missed out on a Final spot in the 11-12 Boy’s 50m Breaststroke with a time of 37.53 finishing 11th, Ashley Irby advanced to the 11-12 Girls 200m Backstroke Final finishing 4th with a time of 2:42.34 and Daley advanced to the 11-12 Boy’s 200m Backstroke Final finishing 4th with a time of 2:35.58.
