The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association released the updated Long Course Meter Records, during the Validus Bermuda National Championships held June 5th – 8th, at the National Sports Center. Today we bring you the New Record Holders in the All Bermuda Female & Male Groups.
BERMUDA
Female
Rebecca Heyliger is now the 50m Butterfly record holder after touching eh wall in a time of 29.18, equaling the record of Ashley Aitken set on July 29th, 2005
Male
During the 50m Butterfly Preliminaries Roy-Allan Burch clocked a time of 25.48, breaking his own record of 0:25.60 set on June 25th, 2012. Burch came back in the Final and broke that record touching the wall in a time of 25.09.
Female - Relay
Madelyn Moore, Ashley Irby, Shannon Hassell and Rebecca Heyliger are now the 4x100m Freestyle Relay record Holders after recording a time of 4:04.17, breaking the record of 4:08.71 set by Heyliger, Stephanie Myles, Lisa Blackburn and Ashley Yearwood on July 5th, 2013.
