The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association has updated the Long Course Meter Record following two recent events.
HAC/MAC Spring Invitational – April 11th to April 13th, 2014 – Canada
11 and 12 Boys
Ethan Daley is the new 800 Meter Freestyle record holder clocking 10:37.65, breaking Tyler Smith’s record of 11:25.59 set on May 14th, 2010, Daley also holds the 200 Meter Individual Medley record holder clocking 2:39.82, breaking Nicholas Patterson’s record of 2:41.04 set on April 9th, 2007
29th CARIFTA Swimming Championships – April 22nd to 26th, 2014 – Aruba
11 and 12 Girls
Emma Harvey clocked 30:11 to claim the 50 Meter Butterfly record, breaking her own record of 0:30.75 set on July 28th, 2013, Harvey then broke that record clocking 29.55 in the Final on April 23rd, 2014.
Harvey set a new 100 Meter Butterfly record of 1:10.15, breaking her own record of 1:12.14 set on June 22nd, 2013, she then she broke that record competing in the Final clocking 1:08.60. Harvey set a new 200 Meter Butterfly record with a time of 2:36.25, breaking Ashley Yearwoods record of 2:58.45 set on July 7th, 2006.
