As the 2013 year draws to a close, www.islandstats.com can bring you information that four Bermuda Swimmers currently hold Caribbean Island Swimming Championships (CISC) Records.
Jesse Washington currently holds three records, while Kiera Aitken and Julian Fletcher both hold two records and Lisa Blackburn holds one.
Aitken’s records are in the Women’s 18 & Over Division, with a time of 29.61 she is the 50m Backstroke Record Holder which was set back on June 28th, 2010. Aitken also holds the 100m Backstroke Record in the Championships touching the wall in a time of 1:04.23.
Lisa Blackburn holds the Women’s 18 & Over Division 200 Individual Medley Record with a time of 2:24.98 set on June 27th, 2012.
Washington’s Record are in the Boy’s 11 – 12 Age Group Division, his first is the 50m Freestyle with a tie of 25.53 clocking a time of June 27th, 2012. Washington also holds the 100m Freestyle Record with a clocked time of 56.36, this record was set on June 23rd, 2012. Washington holds the 50m Butterfly Record with a time of 27.86 which was also set on June 23rd, 2012.
Julian Fletcher’s Records are in the Boy’s 18 & Over Division, with a time of 1:04.83 Fletcher holds the 100m Breaststroke record set on June 27th, 2012. Fletcher clocked 2:24.01 to hold the 200m Breaststroke Record set on June 24th, 2012.
