Arkansas went through its seventh of 29 practices and third one in full pads at the Fred W. Smith Center outdoor practices fields.
Following the day’s 24-period workout, five players, including senior quarterback Austin Allen, sophomore running back Devwah Whaley and graduate transfer running back David Williams, met with the media.
Whaley on Williams:
“We are with each other every day. We are like brothers. The competition each day on the field is making each of us better. It’s fun and it’s exactly what I was hoping for when he decided to be a Razorback.”
Williams on what he brings to the table at Arkansas:
“I feel like I can bring everything. Devwah and I are going to push each other. I know he’s going to come to practice every day and bring 100%, which makes me go 100%. I think iron sharpens iron and we’re going to get better together.”
