The Bermuda Golf Association (BGA) and Bermuda Professional Golfers’ Association (BPGA) are poised to host the upcoming Bermuda Championship Local Qualifier.
Eighteen players will vie for three spots to join veteran professional golfer Dwayne Pearman in the starting field for the 2019 Bermuda Championship.
The public is encouraged to come out and support the players. Admission is free. The two-day qualifying event will be held at Port Royal Golf Course on October 16th and 17th. Players will play in threesomes with the tee times beginning at 10:10am on both days.
“We have completed our final course preparations for the local qualifier,” said Gary Venning, Tournament Director and Head Rules Official for the Local Qualifier. “The course is in great shape, and we are expecting some competitive scores.”
