Bermuda Professional Golfers Association’s Jack Daniels Tour Round at Belmont Hills Golf Course

On a perfect day to shoot low scores, Dwayne Pearman did just that at the Belmont Hills Golf Course. Pearman fresh off his 2012 Bermuda Professional Golf Association Stroke Play Championship victory toured the course with 7 Birdies during his round which set the Bermuda Professional Golfers Association’s Jack Daniels Tour Low Round Record of 7-under par 63 to win by 4 shots.

Pearman managed the slow greens early with Birdies on the 2nd, 4th,and 6th to make the turn at 3-under par 32. At this point Pearman led the field by only 2 shots, but Birdies on 11th, 12th, 14th and 16th gave him the record.

Finishing in second place was rising star Chaka DeSilva with a 3-under par 67. DeSilva’s round also consisted of no Bogies but he struggled with getting the ball to the hole on the greens and after hitting 16/18 green left feeling his round could have been even lower.

Third place went to Twilton Smith who shot a 1-under par 69, Smith also left some shots out on the course with Bogies on 16 and 18, while fourth was Derriek Douglas who shot a round of 3-over par 73.
