Despite the conditions, Scott Barnett managed to shoot an even-par round of 71 to take a one-stroke lead over Damian Palanyandi.
Arthur Jones also managed an even-par round to take the lead in the Senior Men’s Division and a 5-shot lead over Ian Page.
In the Ladies Championship Division, Tracy Nash and Kim Botelho both had good rounds and are currently joint leaders with Katrin Burnie 5 shots behind.
