Daniel Augustus and many other golfers began the journey to the 2021 U.S. Open which got underway, as the USGA brings back qualifying after a one-year pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic for this years national championship. The 121st U.S. Open is being held at Torrey Pines Golf Club in San Diego, June 17th 20th.
Unfortunately, Augustus missed out on a Qualifying spot for the U.S. Open Championship, when he finished T21st in the Qualifier.
Augustus shot a round of 2-over par 74, with the second alternate spot going to Tomas Cocha who shot a 1-under par 71.
