On the Tee Box of the Number One Fairway it was announced by Kiaran MacDonald - Regional Vice President & General Manager of Fairmont Southampton the return of the World Par 3 Championship to Turtle Hill Golf Club, but the 11th consecutive year, taking place March 5th – 8th has a new Sponsor.
As in previous years, the Bermuda Tourism Authority and PGA Canada will continue as partner for this signature golf event in Bermuda now named the Dark & Stormy World Par three Championships.
As the World’s Premier Par 3 Championship with a total purse of $50,000, the event is expected to attract 150 participants from more than 10 countries, including a number of noted professionals.
The field will be rounded out by an impressive list of amateur golfers—from Bermuda, the United States, Canada and Europe—vying for titles in the Men's, Women's and Senior Amateur Divisions.
An added incentive for the winner was also announced by Bermuda PGA Open Championship Tournament Director Sean Sovacool, that the winner of the Dark and Stormy World Par Three Championships 2020 will earn a spot in the Bermuda PGA Open Championships 2020.
